AI Experiences · February 2025 – present

  • Designed and built the Spring/Java service powering Box AI’s Prompt Library, taking it from first commit to production in eight weeks; exposed CRUD operations through GraphQL and supported the product through general availability.
  • Evaluated storage integration options with engineers, made a technical recommendation, and presented the approach for architecture review; selected Box’s Bigtable-backed App Data platform, avoiding a migration and a one-quarter delay to general availability.
  • Leading an in-development skills integration for Box AI chat, coordinating four engineers across frontend, backend, and LLM engineering; partnering with product on user stories, milestones, and estimates, and designing saved skill-folder settings, file parsing, and event-stream contracts.
  • Owned implementation and rollout of React-based quota notifications explaining usage limits and model fallback; kept long-running sessions accurate by scheduling GraphQL refreshes at backend-provided reset times.

Workflow · Early 2020 – February 2025

  • Defined and shipped the Box Forms data model and Joi validation schema, enforcing consistent input validation across frontend and middleware and supporting its February 2025 general availability.
  • Built and shipped Box Relay’s variable-selection experience using React and Tiptap, enabling users to reference values from workflow triggers and prior outcomes.
  • Implemented enterprise subscription entitlements for Relay and Sign in Box’s PHP monolith, translating product-defined plans into feature-access rules.
  • Integrated Split.io across Sign, Forms, and Relay for customer-targeted and percentage-based rollouts; bridged shared React tooling into Sign’s Vue.js store.

SWAT — Internal Administrative Tools · January 2018 – early 2020

  • Independently built a Node.js file-integrity auditing tool on AWS for Box KeySafe customers following a transfer-corruption incident; used customer API credentials to compare downloaded files against stored SHA-1 checksums and generated reports used by support and shared with customers.
  • Investigated customer-reported corruption using SQL queries in Qubole, diagnosed issues caused by interrupted cross-shard database moves, and built and ran repair scripts to remediate affected data.

Developer Support, Tooling & Education · April 2016 – January 2018

  • Worked directly with customers on approximately 15 developer cases per week, debugging code, Box API integrations, and authentication issues, including SAML sign-in failures.
  • Turned recurring developer confusion around app users and JWT authentication into box-tokener, a published Node.js authentication CLI, and an accompanying developer tutorial.
  • Trained Customer Success Managers to use Postman with Box APIs, explaining API fundamentals and guiding participants through common API requests.
  • Met regularly with the Platform Product Manager to discuss bugs and upcoming features, bringing developer support findings into product conversations.

Apple · Sunnyvale, CA

QA Web Analyst · January 2015 – March 2016

  • Supported three major Apple.com launches, authoring test cases, reviewing HTML/CSS/JavaScript changes, and collaborating with developers to investigate unexpected behavior.

Oracle · Redwood City, CA

Account Manager · June 2013 – August 2014

  • Advised Fortune 500 enterprise accounts on managing and maintaining Oracle software assets; generated $815K in FY2014 revenue.
